1. Pick-up time and place :

This will be provided to you the day/evening before your flight day. You will be collected from your accommodation by Marrakech Serenity Ballooning transport. It is very important to be on time as other people may need to be collected as well. Travel time from Marrakech to Marrakech Serenity Ballooning is approximately 40 minutes.

2. Clothing :

It can be chilly in early morning and perhaps in flight. A fleece is advised. A hat should be worn as there can be heat from the balloon's burners overhead. Footwear should be flat heeled (there may be short distances to walk over rough ground). No loose clothing should be worn e.g. long scarves.

3. Arrival on Site and Safety Briefing :

A light breakfast will be offered at Marrakech Serenity Ballooning Basecamp. Then you will be taken to the balloon launch site. A safety briefing will be given and full attention should be given to this.

Only when told should you approch the basket of the balloon under the direction of a member of the Marrakech Serenity Ballooning staff.

4. Boarding the Basket and Security :

This should be done under the direction of a Marrakech Serenity Ballooning member of staff. You will be placed in a certain section of the basket (where you will stay for the duration of your flight). No smoking or vaping or use of electronic cigarettes at any time. At all times do not interfere with any of the balloon's apparatus and ropes. Whilst in the basket do not jump or move around quickly to ensure the basket remains stable and confortable for all.

The pilot will once again go throught the safety briefing and fullest attention is required. During the flight if any person feels insecure or worried the pilot is well trained and experienced in providing reassurance to passengers.

5. Cancellation due to Weather and/or the Authorities :

Should there need to be a cancellation of your flight due to the above then you will be contacted the evening before. You will then have two options; Option 1 : is to reschedule your flight to an other day; Option2 : Is to request a full refund.

NOTE :

Marrakech Serenity Ballooning operates under the strictest regulations based on weather limitations (present and predicted). On rare occasions it may be that you arrive on site and only then your flight has to be cancelled (because of weather safety concerns). In this situation your refund will be the price of your trip minus the transport cost and breakfast cost.
